The Livin' Is Easy...New Day and Time: Tuesday, 6/30, 1:00 to 3:00

Hello everyone!

Now that summer vacation is upon me, I will be changing the day and time of This Side of Paradise.  I can now be heard on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 EDT, just before Captain Al and his "Lost At Sea" show.  I may miss a Tuesday here and there, but I won't be on Friday nights until September.

This week I will be featuring CDs from artists filed under "H" and vinyls from artists filed under "P, Q and R" as well as a few other artists thrown in as I see fit.

Happy listening!

Stevie Jay

Welcome to This Side of Paradise

Hello listeners!  In case you were wondering about the name of my show, it is not the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel that is my inspiration.  It is the episode of Star Trek: The Original Series in which the crew of the Enterprise is infected by spores that makes everyone giggly and lazy, even Mr. Spock.  After he is returned to his normal state at the end of the episode he says "For the first time in my life, I was happy".  My lofty goal is for my show to make you feel that way.  Or at least to make me feel that way.
